Myrtle Beach police investigating after two people shot, killed

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police are investigating a shooting that killed two people Thursday night.

Officers responded around 8:15 p.m. to reports of shots being fired on Willoughby Lane, off 44th Avenue North near Robert Grissom Parkway.

When they arrived at the scene they found two people with severe injuries. Hours later, Myrtle Beach police confirmed that the two did not survive.

It’s not clear if anyone is in custody.

Myrtle Beach police said they will release more information as it becomes available.
