Two dead after multi-vehicle crash in Florence

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Authorities in Florence are investigating after two people died as a result of a multi-vehicle crash.
The two victims have been identified as 19-year-old Trinity Wyatt of Timmonsville and 17-year-old Hannah Skipper of Florence.
Officials say it happened just after 9 p.m. Saturday night. Florence Police responded to the 900 block of Alligator Road for a collision with injuries. When officers arrived on scene they found three vehicles were involved in the crash.
Authorities say five people were taken to nearby hospitals. Wyatt and Skipper later died from their injuries.
An investigation by the Florence Police Department and Florence County Coroner's is ongoing to determine the cause of the incident.
