1 dead after Marion County domestic-related car incident

MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - State and Pee Dee authorities are investigating a death.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies responded to the area of South Highway 41 near Belin Court on Sunday night shortly before 9:30 p.m. and determined there had been a domestic-related incident involving a car

One person sustained fatal injuries.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office, South Carolina Highway Patrol’s Multi-disciplinary Accident Investigation Team , and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division are assisting.

No additional information is being released at this time as the investigation remains ongoing.
