1 dead after Dillon County crash
DILLON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol announced a crash that left one person dead.
The crash reportedly occurred at 6:30 a.m. Saturday on Bethel Road near Free State Road in Dillon County with one car involved.
The SCHP said the driver of the box truck was the only occupant of the vehicle and died on scene.
The box truck was traveling north on Bethel Road before the vehicle then traveled off of the road to the left, struck a tree.
The truck then corrected, traveled off of the road to the right, struck a ditch, and then struck another tree.
