Judge sets bond for suspect in Myrtle Beach gas station stabbing
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A judge set bond for a man accused of stabbing another man in a Myrtle Beach gas station parking lot.
Jaziah Taylor, 25, appeared for a bond hearing Monday morning, where a judge gave him an $85,000 bond for his charges of assault and battery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

During the bond hearing, it was revealed that Taylor and the victim got into an argument at the Speedway gas station along Mr. Joe White Avenue, where Taylor works.
Warrants show the argument led to the suspect taking a drink away from the victim and then showing a knife in his hand.
Police said Taylor followed the victim out of the store and into the parking lot.
According to the warrants, the victim headbutted Taylor and that’s when Taylor stabbed the victim in the chest.
The victim was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center, and a prosecutor said in court that the victim will be in the hospital for a while.
Additionally, during the bond hearing, the judge noted that Taylor has no criminal history.
“Your criminal history showing up that nothing, not even a littering charge,” Judge Scott Long said.
On top of the bond, Taylor was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
