SCDOT to hold drop-in public information meeting in Horry County

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation is hosting a meeting open to the public in Horry County.

SCDOT representatives will discuss a proposed highway safety improvement project along US 17 Business (North Kings Highway) in Horry County.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Ocean View Baptist Church, 7300 N. Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.

Officials will accept comments on this project from May 7 to June 6, 2025.
