Georgetown deputies investigating after man reportedly injured in shooting

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - Authorities are investigating a reported Friday night shooting in the Grand Strand.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said a 43-year-old man is being treated for a gunshot wound after a fight.

Deputies say it was between him and his girlfriend’s son.

The shooting reportedly took place at a home on Parkerville Road in Pawleys Island just before 10 p.m.
