1 dead, 1 hurt in Georgetown County crash

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - An overnight crash in the Georgetown area left one person dead and another hurt.
It happened just after midnight Saturday on Dunbar Road near Rose Hill Road.
A 2018 Honda Civic going south and a 2000 Nissan Maxima heading north collided, according to Lance Cpl. Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver of the Honda died at a hospital, and the driver of the Nissan was also taken to the hospital.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
