Second suspect arrested in Myrtle Beach ATM robbery
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - A few weeks after police arrested the first suspect in an ATM robbery in Myrtle Beach, a second suspect has been taken into custody.
On Aug. 9, 20-year-old Kendris Boston was arrested in connection to the robbery, where over $50,000 was reportedly taken.
Records show Kendris Boston was charged with criminal conspiracy and entering a bank with intent to steal.
On Monday, police arrested the second suspect, 20-year-old Undre Childs. He is charged with criminal conspiracy and robbery.

Warrants obtained by WMBF News state the incident happened on April 23 at the Bank of America location on Pine Island Road. Documents state a technician was trying to fix a jam in the ATM when Boston and Childs drove up in a truck and ran to the ATM while wearing masks.
The two reportedly told the technician to move out of the way as they removed the cash cassettes from the machine. A total of $52,930 was taken from the ATM, according to a police report.
Warrants state the two got back in the truck and parked behind a nearby business.
Those warrants also cite forensic evidence, including Boston’s fingerprints on the truck’s rear driver door and multiple items returning with a hit for Boston’s DNA.
As of Monday, online records show Boston is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $50,000 bond. Childs is still being held at the Myrtle Beach jail.
