Coroner’s office: Man found with multiple gunshot wounds in Myrtle Beach dies in hospital

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - A man found with multiple gunshot wounds in Myrtle Beach has died from his injuries.
Authorities say 42-year-old Bilal Harris was shot multiple times on Jan. 5. He was transported to Grand Strand Medical Center and died from his injuries three days later.
Police said officers working in the area heard gunshots and found the victim near the intersection of Gray Street and Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 28-year-old Patrick Brave. He is charged with murder and first-degree burglary.
Brave appeared before a judge Monday afternoon for a bond hearing, but bond was not set due to the serious nature of the charges.
