Teen killed in Hartsville shooting

HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) – A teenager was shot and killed Wednesday night on Bell Avenue in Hartsville, according to Darlington County Coroner JT Hardee.
Hardee says the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. He identified the victim as Deshaun Owens, 18, of Hartsville. Owens was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy will be scheduled at a later date, Hardee confirms. The Darlington County Coroner's Office and Hartsville police are investigating.
