Coroner identifies second victim found burned in vehicle in Socastee area

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The coroner's office has identified the second man found burned in a car off Butler Road in the Socastee area last month.

According to the Horry County Coroner Michelle McSpadden, the second victim has been identified as 29-year-old Matthew Autry. McSpadden says Autry was originally from Kershaw but was living in the Myrtle Beach area. Dental records previously identified the other victim as 35-year-old Shawn David Anderson, of Laurens.

Four men have been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the incident. Additionally, Miranda Nicole Owens has been charged with accessory after the fact to felony murder.

According to information from Horry County Police Capt. John Harrelson, Jeret Cox and Shannon Ray Little are also wanted for accessory after the fact to felony murder.
