DILLON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The Container Maintenance Corporation announced Thursday plans to open a new facility in Dillon County, according to a news release. Designed to support the Inland Port Dillon, the facility will bring $11.5 million of capital investment and create about 54 jobs.
Container Maintenance Corporation offers repair, upkeep and depot services, as well as storage and redistribution of intermodal equipment. The company also has a facility in Charleston County which supports the Port of Charleston, the release says.
"We are excited to be part of the Dillon community and are proud that we can continue to support the Port of Charleston through its inland port network," Container Maintenance Corporation General Manager of Marine Repair Services David M. Miller, Jr. said.
