2 people airlifted to Grand Strand Medical after accident in Loris

LORIS, SC (WMBF) – Two people were airlifted, and another person was transported, to Grand Strand Medical Center after a car accident on 701 South at Beauty Avenue in Loris, according to Loris Fire Chief Jerry Hardee.
According to Hardee, the accident left one of the two people traveling in a white Dodge Journey entrapped, as well as one person traveling in a Jeep Liberty.
The accident happened around 7:00 p.m. and is still under investigation.
