Fatal shooting in Robeson County ruled self-defense

ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – A shooting is being ruled self-defense after a 38-year-old man was found dead in a driveway on Fire Tower Road in Orrum, North Carolina Wednesday evening, according to Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealy.
At about 7:48 p.m., the sheriff's office received a call about a person being shot, and deputies arrived to find Antonio Baker shot and deceased in a driveway, Sheriff Sealy said. Baker lived off Jordan Road in Lumberton.
Investigators interviewed the shooter and family members and spoke to with the District Attorney on Thursday, according to Sheriff Sealy. The shooting was ruled self-defense. Investigators learned that the shooter was a family member, and an argument and fight broke out between them when a gun was pulled and fired.
