HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - August 25, 2013 exactly two years ago was the last time Zachary Malinowski was seen, and police still haven't found a body. His mother told WMBF News, even though two men have been indicted for the murder and kidnapping of Zachary, his case is far from over. Melissa Marcus Jordan says she will not stop until she finds her son, and will do all she can to keep memory his alive.

Jordan said everyday she is looking for peace. "I live everyday of my life just wanting to find my child," she said. As any loving mother would she holds onto the memories of her son until he comes home. "He was a true joy, and his true friends will tell you, that he made everybody laugh," said Jordan as she smiled.

Jordan has a silver necklace, with a cross and circle that holds a heart, Zachary's name, and birthstone, something she wears to keep him close to heart.

"A true blessing to me and my only child," said Jordan. "To be able to honor him is also a privilege, but at the same time, I wish we could just find him and  be able to put him to rest."

On the two year anniversary Zachary's mother is making sure her son is not forgotten. "We're going to have a balloon release in Zachary's honor and hope that some family and friends will come together and talk about some of the good things with Zack," said Jordan.

She said the event is also about bringing awareness to the public that Zachary is still missing, but Jordan said she has faith that someone will come forward with even the smallest detail of information that will help her find her son.

She said, "I know that there's a lot of people out there that know, and there's a lot of people talking and they are not coming forward with the information, but they have the information."

Jordan encourages people that may know something to do the right thing. "I beg to you please, if you know anything at all, and at least let me bury my child," Jordan said as she tried to hold back tears.

In December 2014, two suspects, Chris Brown, and Javon Gibbs both of Conway were arrested and charged with the kidnapping and murder of Zachary, but his mother says she still needs closure.

"My baby's body is still laying out there somewhere and to me I need to find him, I need to find him," Jordan cried.

The balloon release and vigil in honor of Zachary will be held Saturday, August 29, at Aynor Town Park at 4 p.m. Those that want to honor him are welcomed to attend.

A bond hearing was scheduled for Brown and Gibbs back in May 2015. Click the link, here, to review.

According to J. Reuben Long Detention center Gibbs was released on bond on May 26. Brown was released on June 20.

A trial date has not been set at this time.
