MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Mutiny continued their record-setting season on Saturday night, taking down FC Wichita by a 3-1 final.
Forward Jon Ander Ibarrondo powered the way for the Mutiny, scoring all three goals on his way to a hat trick in the win. The Mutiny improve to 11-1-1 on the year, tops in the South Region, and advance to the NPSL South Finals. The total for the season now makes 31 goals for Myrtle Beach as opposed to just 17 allowed on the year.
The Mutiny will host FC Chattanooga in the South Finals on Saturday at 7:30, at Ashley Booth Field, right next to Doug Shaw Stadium. Chattanooga made it to the NPSL Championship Game a year ago before losing to the New York Red Bulls U-23 team.
