Crews put out vehicle fire in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Fire crews responded to a vehicle fire behind a strip mall in North Myrtle Beach Wednesday night, according to a Facebook post by North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue.

The fire was reported at about 6 p.m. off of 2nd Avenue North, according to the post. The vehicle was about 10 feet from a building and just five feet from a 55-gallon drum of biodiesel fuel.

Crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly with no damage aside from the vehicle itself, officials stated.
