HCPD searches for suspect connected to murder, warns neighbors to stay inside

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County police have captured a murder suspect wanted in connection with a Loris homicide. One suspect remains on the run.
Emericka Jackson, 16, has been taken into custody by the Horry County Police Department, according to the department's Facebook page.
Jackson was located on Hwy. 319 near Mt. Ariel Church in Conway, according to police.
Deterris Marquiz Nequa Bellamy, 19, of Loris, is believed to have escaped at the time of Jackson's arrest, police say. He is wanted for accessory after the fact of murder, according to police.
A heavy police presence remains in the area at this time. Police issued a CodeRed alert warning residents of the manhunt at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Horry County Police Department's Bloodhound Tracking Team is currently on the way to the scene to look for Bellamy.
Bellamy is also known as "D," according to police. He described as a black male, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Bellamy has black hair and brown eyes.
Residents should stay inside their homes at this time and immediately call 911 for any suspicious activity in the area in question.
