FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - One man is in the hospital after causing a four vehicle accident Thursday night in Florence, according to Captain George Mack with the City of Florence Police Department.
Police will charge Ronald Lyons with hit and run with personal injuries and hit and run with property damage once he is released from the hospital.
Lyons hit a car head-on on Alligator Road causing his car to spin off and strike two other cars. Lyons then took off on foot after the accident, according to Captain Mack.
All other people injured in the accident were treated and released from the hospital.
Captain Mack said that police still do not have a cause for the collision.
