Inclement weather postpones FMU baseball and tennis matches

From Francis Marion University:

Inclement weather in the South Carolina area has forced schedule changes for the Francis Marion University baseball team and the men's and women's tennis teams.

The Patriot baseball squad was scheduled to travel to Orangeburg, SC, today for a matchup with Claflin University. That contest has been postponed until Thursday, April 3, at 6 p.m.

The nationally ranked FMU tennis teams were scheduled for Peach Belt Conference matches at USC Aiken Thursday afternoon. Due to the threat of rain and cold weather in the Aiken, SC, area, those matches have been moved to Wednesday, April 2, at 2 p.m.

Baseball will travel to sixth-ranked Lander University this weekend for a three-game PBC series. The series will begin on Friday night (March 6) at 6 p.m., and conclude on Saturday (March 7) with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.

The Patriots' women's tennis team will return to action on Tuesday, March 18 against California University of Pennsylvania at 2 p.m., on the Kassab Courts. The men's team will return to the courts on Sunday, March 30 at home against Georgia Southwestern State University. First serve will be at 11 a.m.
