Coroner: Christmas Eve stabbing victim identified, cause of death released

GALIVANTS FERRY, SC (WMBF) - The Horry County Coroner's Office released the identity and cause-of-death in the fatal Christmas Eve stabbing in Galivants Ferry.
Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick confirmed 52-year-old Herbert Lee Robinson of Galivants Ferry received a single stab wound in his upper chest. He died from massive internal hemorrhage.
The Horry County Police Department's Facebook page confirmed 55-year-old Connie Louise Highsmith has been charged with murder. She has been booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Sgt. Strickland with Horry County Police said someone called 911 around 3:01 p.m. Tuesday to report a stabbing in a home on Methodist Rehobeth Road.
When officers arrived at the home they found the man identified as Robinson deceased, Sgt. Strickland said.
Robinson's death was allegedly the result of a domestic dispute with Highsmith.
