Conway police arrest man in connection to sexual assault

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – The Conway Police Department charged a man with criminal sexual conduct in connection to an alleged sexual assault that occurred on December 20, according to a news statement from the CPD.
The reported sexual assault happened in a wooded area near Cottage Lane around 11:30 a.m. James Felder, 44-years-of-age, from Conway is charged in connection to the incident.
The victim said she was walking through the woods and a man came up to her and sexually assaulted her. Officers located Felder in the area, and the victim positively identified him as the person who assaulted her.
