The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and the Horry County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on Black Cherry Way off of Hwy. 90, on Friday. DEU has known about the group for quite some time. It took about 6 months for them to get into the door and get enough information to start a complex surveillance on them. Throughout the six month investigation, DEU agents observed individuals making drug deliveries in the Black Cherry Way area.
During the investigation approximately 33 grams of powdered Heroin, 8.3 grams of crack, 2 grams of marijuana and around $10,000 in cash was seized according to Bishop.
The organization is known as the '24/7 boys,' claiming they're available for calls and delivery 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The '24/7boys,' were leasing a property in the neighborhood, using it as a base of operation to conduct business for the delivery crew.
According to Bishop, there will be charges for heroin, crack, and marijuana, but additional charges will be added per individual and as investigation continues. At a bond hearing held Saturday, Chapman's bond was $110,620, Brown, $111,000, Hawkins, $90, 620, House,$110,620, White, $100, 620, Martin, $90,620.
