Dabo Swinney stops by the Grand Strand

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney was in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday evening for the annual "Prowl and Growl" event.

Dabo was joined by basketball coach Brad Brownell and hundreds of Tiger fans, as he signed autographs and spoke to the crowd for much of the night.

Much of the talk centered around Clemson's ten win season and their 2011 ACC Championship, but the recent arrest of All-American receiver Sammy Watkins was certainly a topic of conversation.

Something Swinney did address when asked by WMBF Sports Director Jason Belk.

"I think he's responded very well, but as far as any other comments at this time I'm still in the process, like my statement said, of gathering everything," Swinney continued, "All my thoughts and all the facts, and meeting with everybody involved, and then making a decision of where we will go from there as far as type of discipline we'll put in place."

The "Prowl and Growl" tour will continue over the next few weeks.  Their next stop is Orlando, Florida this Saturday.
