Honor Flight still seeks veterans for October flight

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) The Honor Flight is still looking for veterans to fill the remaining seats in the flight that will depart from Myrtle Beach in October.

The October 26 Honor Flight will depart from Myrtle Beach International Airport en route to Washington, DC to view the memorial built for World War II veterans. Additional Honor Flights are planned across the state of South Carolina with one leaving from Greenville this week.

As of Monday, Honor Flight Myrtle Beach still needs 10 veterans for the flight. All guardian seats have been filled for those accompanying the veterans on their free trip to Washington
