CONWAY, SC (WMBF) A 22-year-old Conway woman found herself in handcuffs after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend upon the discovery of another woman's phone number Tuesday afternoon.
Catina Hipp, spokeswoman for the Conway Police Department, said officers responded to a home along Ladson Street just before 4 p.m. in reference to an assault.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male victim who said his girlfriend found the phone number of another female acquaintance in his cell phone and got upset. According to the victim, Kelly Gause chased him into a bedroom with a knife and then cut his arm in three places.
Hipp said the victim was transported to Conway Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.
Gause was then arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. She appeared before a judge Wednesday and received a $10,000 surety bond, said Hipp.
