Grand Strand Humane Society to hold "For the Love of Felines" adoption event

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF)- The Grand Strand Humane Society will be hosting a special cat adoption event starting Wednesday, and lasting through Saturday.

"For the Love of Felines" is a special cat adoption event. The Grand Strand Humane Society invites anyone who wishes to attend to this special event.

Adoptions will take place Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The special adoption price for the event is $50. This fee includes spaying/neutering, pain medications, antibiotics, micro-chip, 30-day-free pet insurance and all necessary vaccines.

They hope this event will help find homes for cats who need it. The Grand Strand Humane society only has room to house 167 animals, and at this time they have over 300 animals.

The special adoption fee only applies to cats, but as always you are welcome to adopt any animal available for adoption at the shelter.
