Georgetown, SC - GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - To help accommodate the increased interest in volunteering with the American Red Cross, the Coastal SC chapter is hosting free orientations for prospective volunteers.
The class gives an overview of the American Red Cross and explains the process to volunteer. Nanci Conley, director of public support, will lead the orientation from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, at the Georgetown Service Center, 537 Lafayette Circle in Georgetown.
The chapter is offering monthly Volunteer Orientation sessions, rotating the location between the Georgetown office, Myrtle Beach Mall and the Chapter administrative office in Myrtle Beach.
Pre-registration is required for this free orientation. Anyone interested in learning more about volunteering with the Red Cross can call 477-0020 in Horry County or 546-5422 in Georgetown County and add their name and phone number to the list to attend.
