Brookley Cromer

Brookley Cromer is a reporter for FOX Carolina. She appears on The Ten O’Clock News and The Eleven O'Clock News.

Brookley joined the station in 2015 where she landed her first reporting job in her hometown market. An Upstate native, Brookley is from Easley. She studied political science at Clemson University and graduated from USC Upstate with a degree in mass media communications, where she interned at ETV as a student media producer.

As a part of The Ten O'Clock News team, Brookley and her colleagues have been nominated for three Emmy awards for the best evening newscast in the Southeast. She is also part of the team awarded the South Carolina Broadcaster’s Association STAR Award for best evening newscast in the state and an award of merit for their coverage of a deadly tornado in Seneca, South Carolina in 2020.

Brookley has been on Investigation Discovery’s Serial Killer: Devil Unchained and FOX Nation’s documentary series, Evil Next Door, following her extensive coverage of Spartanburg County serial killer Todd Kohlhepp.

Outside of the newsroom, Brookley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two pups, Finn and Dior. She loves traveling, interior decorating, working out, and cooking.

On the weekends: I spend time with my family, friends, and my husband, Matt. I love traveling, trying new restaurants and being outdoors--whether it's riding my bike, hiking, or going to the mountains for the day.

My favorite movie: Notting Hill, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and true crime documentaries

My favorite kind of music: Acoustic, blues and indie rock

Favorite food: Salad, steak, Chipotle burrito bowls and TCBY yogurt

Hidden talents: Cooking! I taught myself to gourmet cook by watching cooking shows.

Hobbies: Interior decorating, traveling, cooking, and upcycling furniture
