HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Two men are behind bars after a man was robbed at gunpoint at his home in the Myrtle Beach area.

Sherdarrius Montgomery, 23, and Tramond Wilson, 32, are facing multiple charges, including armed robbery and kidnapping.

An officer with the Horry County Police Department responded Dec. 1, 2025, to Reavis Lane off Burcale Road in connection with a past armed robbery.

At the scene, police spoke with the victim, who said he was robbed at gunpoint at his home between 3 and 4 a.m. that morning while his daughter slept in a bedroom.

The victim said that it started the day before, when his neighbors had taken some electronics from his porch.

The neighbors told the man they would give the items back if he paid them $200. He paid the money and got his speakers back.

Then on the morning of Dec. 1, the man heard a knock at the door. Two men, identified as Montgomery and Wilson, were trying to return an item, according to a police report.

When he bent to pick up the item, Montgomery put a gun to the back of his head and forced him back inside the home, arrest warrants state.

Montgomery told the victim to grab the keys to the victim’s vehicle, and the suspects forced him back outside to start it, according to the documents.

Before leaving, Montgomery and Wilson also took $1,000 and an iPhone from the victim, the police report said.

The suspects told him if he called police, they would come back and kill him, according to the report.

Montgomery and Wilson were later identified in a photo lineup, the arrest warrants said.

Montgomery was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Dec. 1. Bond for a majority of his charges has not been set, jail records show.

Public records show Montgomery previously pleaded guilty to armed robbery in connection with a 2021 case. He was sentenced to two years, which was suspended down to probation.

Wilson was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center Saturday. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.
