Man accused of firing multiple shots inside Hartsville area home

Deputies said a man opened fire during an argument inside a Hartsville area home.

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Deputies said a man opened fire during an argument inside a Hartsville area home.

Darlington County deputies responded on Saturday to a home on Persimmons Drive for a call about an assault.

Investigators discovered there had been an argument between Isaac Jackson and the victim inside the home.

During the argument, Jackson is accused of threatening to kill the victim and then pointed a gun at them.

Deputies said Jackson then fired the gun multiple at the victim.

No one was hurt in the shooting.

Deputies arrested and charged Jackson with pointing and presenting a firearm and first-degree assault and battery.

A judge denied bond for Jackson and he is being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center.
