HCS host 16th Annual Technology Fair
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Horry County Schools held its 16th Annual Technology Fair on Wednesday.
The event took place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and featured robotics competition, drone demonstrations, and a Rubik’s Cube challenge.
The fair also featured a student-created art gallery.
“When I look at what the kids have chosen to highlight today. I’ve seen kindness on display. I’ve seen technical skill on display. I’ve seen teamwork on display,” said HCS Superintendent Clifford Jones. “And when I look at what they’re doing with relevance and rigor in this county... we are tops. Not only in the state, but in the nation.”
Attendees could even participate in interactive exhibits such as virtual reality and a portable planetarium.
