No students hurt in crash involving HCS school bus, official says

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A crash involving a Horry County Schools bus impacted Thursday morning traffic in Myrtle Beach.
Capt. Jon Evans with the Myrtle Beach Fire Department confirmed that crews responded around 7 a.m. to the crash on Highway 501 near Cannon Road.
None of the kids on the bus reported any injuries, and they were transferred to another bus to get to school, Evans added.
Evans did say that one person in the vehicle that hit the bus did suffer an injury but is expected to be okay.
As of 9:10 a.m., the South Carolina Department of Transportation is not reporting any slowdowns in the area.
