1 dead after argument reportedly led to shooting on Ocean Boulevard
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Authorities are investigating a now-deadly shooting that happened in Myrtle Beach.
A police report obtained by WMBF News states states the Myrtle Beach Police Department responded just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Sea Mist Driftwood Building at 1207 South Ocean Boulevard for the shooting.
Police reportedly spoke with the victim, who said there was an argument that led to the shooting. According to the report, EMS also arrived and began helping someone identified as the offender.
Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard later identified a person who died in the shooting as 23-year-old Aaron Holston of Pickerington, Ohio. Willard said Holston died after being taken to a hospital.
No further details were immediately available.
MBPD previously said that two people were taken to the hospital for their injuries after the shooting.
