Car hits pedestrian while changing lanes in deadly Pee Dee crash, trooper says

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - An overnight crash in the Quinby area of Florence County left a pedestrian dead.
It happened around 12:23 a.m. Wednesday on TV Road near Black Creek Road.
A 2017 Jeep Compass going south changed from the right lane to the left to pass another car and hit the pedestrian, according to Master Trooper Gary Miller with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The Florence County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the victim.
Miller said that the driver of the Jeep was not hurt. Miller added that the driver wasn’t facing any charges in the crash.
