Police respond to shooting in McColl

McColl, S.C. (WMBF) – Authorities are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday in the town of McColl in Marlboro County.
McColl Police Chief Brian Genwright said the shooting happened on Polston Street.
According to Genwright, one person was shot in the incident.
No other information was immediately available. Officials with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office said they are assisting in the investigation.
