TRAFFIC ALERT: Two-car crash closes lanes on Highway 31; 1 hurt

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – A two-car crash along a major highway in Horry County has sent one person to the hospital on Tuesday night.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation is reporting that two left lanes on the southbound side of Highway 31, near Water Tower Road, are closed as crews investigate and clear the crash.
Horry County Fire Rescue said extrication operations were needed at the scene.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries, according to HCFR.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

It’s not clear right now how many vehicles are involved or if there are any injuries.
