MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - It’s a nice start to the week with plenty of sunshine and highs right where we should be for this time of year.
As you head out the door this morning, the jacket will be needed for the first part of the day with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. We will quickly warm up into the low-mid 50s for highs this afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Our forecast will remain similar on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs getting slightly warmer for the afternoon on both Tuesday and Wednesday. A few more clouds will be possible Wednesday afternoon.
Those clouds will be just clouds for Wednesday but eventually our next rain chance works into the region Thursday and Friday with an incoming disturbance. A stationary front will drop to the south, bringing just enough moisture for a few isolated showers Thursday but better chances Friday afternoon.
While it’s still early, the cold front looks to bring in cooler temperatures for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the lower 50s with mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday. We will keep an eye on the changes to the end of the week forecast and provide those changes to you on the First Alert Weather App.
