MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - It’s a cold start to the morning with temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s across the Grand Strand and Pee Dee. Even with sunshine in the forecast, we will be slow to warm up today. High temperatures will struggle to reach the low 50s today across the Pee Dee, and low 50s are expected across the Grand Strand.
As we head into the new week, and overall quiet and dry pattern will settle in. Temperatures look to remain cool through about Tuesday, as highs only warm into the low 50s. Party to mostly sunny skies will continue into the new week as well, that’s until clouds return as we head towards Wednesday.
Wednesday’s clouds will be ahead of a few scattered rain chances towards the end of the week. So far only about a 30% chance of rain is anticipated into Thursday and Friday. Most showers will be brief and light for the most part as well. Along with the increasing rain chances through the end of the week will come increasing temperatures. Highs will warm back into the low 60s towards the end of next week.
