MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Former South Carolina governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is launching a new project to help candidates in her party ahead of next year’s midterm elections.
Haley recently announced the establishment of the “Stand for America” Political Action Committee. According to the organization’s website, Haley established Stand for America to “build on this momentum at a critical moment in our nation’s story.”
The PAC also says it is “laser-focused on the 2022 midterms and electing a conservative force to the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate to counter the liberal agenda of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi.”
Stand for America is also not authorized by any candidate or candidate committee, according to its website.
The support for midterm candidates also comes as Haley herself has been mentioned as a possible GOP candidate for president in 2024. She has yet to publicly announced her candidacy.
