HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Applications are now being accepting for positions with Horry County Fire Rescue.
“Horry County is growing, as is HCFR’s call volume. In 2020, we ran more calls than ever before, and we need a full team of first responders to continue serving our residents and guests,” HCFR spokesperson Tony Casey said.
In total, the department responded to 63,620 fire and medical calls last year, according to officials.
Casey said he hopes candidates recognize the opportunity for growth and advancement within the department.
Applications will be accepted through Thursday, Feb. 4, at 5 p.m.
