GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – A Murrells Inlet man is behind bars after allegedly raping a woman at knifepoint.
Deputies have charged Dennis Montrele Smalls, 35, with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and obstructing justice.
The alleged incident happened last November in Murrells Inlet, arrest warrants stated.
While on a secluded dirt road, Smalls raped the victim in her vehicle at knifepoint, according to arrest warrants.
