MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Mist, drizzle and light rain will continue through early Tuesday before dry and seasonable weather returns.
A weak storm system moving through the Carolinas will keep periods of light rain and drizzle going through tonight. Temperatures will remain steady in the lower to middle 40s.
Light rain and drizzle will persist through the morning hours of Tuesday before tapering off around midday. Skies will remain cloudy through the day with perhaps a few peaks of sunshine by late in the day. Temperatures will climb into the lower 50s along the Grand Strand and to near 50 across the Pee Dee.
The rest of the week will feature clearing skies and a drying trend along with seasonable temperatures. Daytime readings will climb into the middle and upper 50s with overnight temperatures in the 30s to near 40 each night.
The next risk of rain will be just a few light showers arriving Friday night, but clearing out by the weekend.
