MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - We’re in for a much cooler, drier, and sunnier weekend across the Grand Strand and Pee Dee. High temperatures today will steadily warm into the upper 40s and low 50s with decreasing clouds and increasing sunshine. This trend of quite and sunny weather will continue into Sunday as well. Tomorrow will feature highs warming into the low 50s with mainly clear skies.
As we head into Monday and Tuesday, that’s when we will begin to see our next weather maker head our way. A cold front will help to bring another round of scattered showers as we head into Monday and Tuesday. So far only a 20% chance of a few isolated showers are expected for Monday afternoon. More scattered activity returns overnight and into the first half of Tuesday.
Beyond Tuesday, the forecast looks seasonable, dry and sunny for the most part. The following weekend will be one to watch, as we could see the potential of slipping into a cold spell with highs only warming into the 40s.
