MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A driver was taken into custody after allegedly crashing into a Myrtle Beach gas station and then speeding off.
Myrtle Beach police MCpl. Tom Vest said around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, a car hit a Circle K in the 1400 block of South Kings Highway.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
Vest said the driver took off from the scene.
Officers used traffic cameras to locate the suspect’s vehicle in a parking lot in the area of 14th Avenue South and South Kings Highway, according to Vest.
The driver was arrested and will be charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene.
The person’s name has not been released yet.
