GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information on a giant stolen fish.

A six-foot fiberglass fish sculpture from the former Litchfield House on Ocean Highway was stolen, according to the sheriff’s office.

The fiberglass fish was displayed on an old blue truck in front of the restaurant. The Litchfield House closed in 2019.

This isn’t the first time something has been stolen from outside the restaurant.

In December 2019, someone stole vintage Gulf, Pure and ESSO gasoline signs from the side of the restaurant.

The large metal signs were found in Sumter County.
