Meal pick-up available for Grand Strand, Pee Dee students in fully virtual learning
Students in Horry County will still be able to have their parents pick up lunches while they are learning virtually.

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – While Horry County students will be learning fully virtually until Jan. 15, parents will still be able to pick up meals for their children.

District officials said student meals will be distributed by pick-up starting at 11 a.m. and going until 1 p.m. daily from Jan. 4 through Jan. 15.

There are 11 curbside pick-up locations in the county. They are:

  • Aynor Elementary
  • Green Sea Floyds Elementary
  • Loris Middle
  • Myrtle Beach Middle
  • North Myrtle Beach Middle
  • Palmetto Bays Elementary
  • St. James Middle
  • Socastee High School
  • South Conway Elementary
  • Ten Oaks Middle
  • Whittemore Park Middle

Parents of Florence School District One students can also pick up meals for their children on Jan. 4, Jan. 6, and Jan. 11 at the following sites:

  • RN Beck
  • Royall Elementary
  • Briggs Elementary
  • McLaurin Elementary
  • Lester Elementary
  • Timrod Elementary
  • Lucy T. Davis Elementary
  • West Florence High School
  • South Florence High School
  • Moore Middle School
  • Williams Middle School
  • Sneed Middle School
  • Wallace Gregg Elementary
  • Delmae Elementary
  • Savannah Grove Elementary

Meal pick-up hours will be daily from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., according to the district.

FSD1 officials said meals will also be available for pickup from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the bus ramp at the following school sites:

  • Greenwood Elementary
  • North Vista Elementary
  • Carver Elementary
  • Southside Middle
  • Woods Road Child Development Center
  • Wilson High School
  • Dewey Carter Elementary
