Florence County coroner identifies victim killed in crash involving tractor-trailer

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – The Florence County Coroner’s Office has named the man killed in a crash Wednesday morning on South Irby Street.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the victim Steven Hoffman, 39, of Florence.
Police said a pick-up truck traveling northbound on South Irby Street crossed the center line and collided with a tractor-trailer traveling southbound.
The crash remains under investigation.
