MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - After a cold and clear day for the Grand Strand and Pee Dee, even colder temperatures set up tonight as lows dip down near freezing. If winds are light enough, there’s a good potential of frost developing across the Pee Dee and a few isolated areas along the Grand Strand. Inland temperatures will fall into the upper 20s, with areas near the beaches dipping into the low 30s.
Tomorrow, temperatures will be a bit more comfortable with highs reaching the middle 50s for most. Sunshine will also help for things to feel a bit warmer, particularly for tomorrow afternoon.
As we gear up for the weekend, temperatures will continue to climb into the upper 50s and low 60s, but also with these increasing temperatures will come increasing rain chances. So far we look to stay mainly dry through about Saturday, with most scattered shower activity taking place into Sunday and Monday.
